Welcome to Studio Dance’s Internet site, an online window for our studio. While looking over the site, please note that we are open to questions and a personal visit as well. The studio began in 1983, founded and directed by Jo Ann Hodge. Tots through college age have been dancing at Studio Dance for 25-plus years. Several students have gone on to pursue professional employment in the dance industry, while others have gone on to have successful careers as  teachers, lawyers, doctors and, of course, outstanding mothers. Studio Dance is home to several second- and a few third-generation family of dancers.

Our philosophy – Dance should be enjoyed and experienced by all! We believe in a strong technical background for our students, which develops good motor skills, encouraging creativity and building self esteem through dance.
