Introduction To Dance – One of Studio Dance’s most popular courses. An Introduction to ballet, song & dance and tumbling for 3- & 4-year-olds. We ask that an adult take part in class with the child. Learn beginning dance and enjoy each other’s company and proper spotting techniques.

    Shining Stars  – This dance class is for the (4-5 year old) child ready to be independent and dance without a parent. Ballet, creative dance and tumbling will be taught.

    Hip Hop /Jazz – Learn exciting combination work to hip hop music, some stretching and down the floor work included. Great class for those thinking about Juniorettes or Fantastics auditions.

     Tumbling Class (5 & up) – Improve tumbling skills, with emphasis on back handsprings, flexibility and developing additional body strength.

     Ballet technique (10 & up) -- Solo performers, Fantastic dancers & those wanting to improve technique to become stronger dancers. (Not a beginner class. The adult & teen class is a beginner level.)                                                           

     Jump, Trick & Turn class (ages 10 & up with dance experience)- Improve turn technique. Learn special jumps & tricks. Good for the solo dancer to have new & improved showy stuff for routines. (Must enroll in summer ballet class too.)

     Contemporary Dance (ages 12 & up with dance experience)- Jazz, modern,& ballet fusion would be description for our contemporary class. Ballet background needed to make class enjoyable for all.

Fees paid in advance are $50 for the 5 sessions & $14 more to add on another subject. Wednesday Princess camp is $95 for the 4 sessions or $27 for single sessions if space allows. (We will need to know you’re coming ahead of time; check with Jo Ann.) Single-class fees, at $12, is an option for most classes. The best value and planning is to sign up for the entire session and get the best rate. **All classes must have at least 5 dancers enrolled by June 1 in order to hold the classes. Please enroll early so we can have a great summer 2012 of dance!

    ****Information about Fantastics auditions to come. Auditions will be held toward the end of May. Fantastic members must take at least 2 dance subjects during our summer five-week class session or take a minimum of 3 privates during the month of June.*****
